Announcements

1. The Second Annual Health Disparities Symposium 2015 is to be held on May 12th 4-8pm at Brown Alpert Medical School. This will be the 2nd annual event with an evening of speakers, poster presentations, and breakout sessions. Keynote speaker: Elizabeth Roberts, Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. 2. The Brown Minority Housestaff Association (BMHA) will be partnering with the Brown Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) to provide healthcare and counseling to the community at The Annual Community Health Fair to be held on Saturday, May 2nd 9am-12pm at Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School in Pawtucket. 14th Annual Spring Thaw Pow Wow, 
The Native American Heritage Series and the Native Americans at Brown will be hosting their 14th Annual Spring Thaw Pow Wow on April 25th. A pow wow is a contemporary Native American social gathering. It will be a day of dance competition, Native American food, and quality Native American arts and crafts.
