Announcements:
1) LOWN INSTITUTE CONFERENCE :If you are a student, clinical trainee, nurse, patient, patient advocate, or community leader, then there's still time to apply for one of our limited Conference Scholarships to the 2015 Lown Institute Conference, Road to RightCare: Engage, Organize, Transform (click here)The deadline to apply is this Sunday, December 7.
 We are offering scholarships up to $1200 to defray travel costs. The conference registration fee will also be waived for scholarship recipients.

2) OPPORTUNITY FOR SIM TRAINING From Drs. Overly and Brown (contact them if interested): 
Another opportunity for simulation enhanced training on Dec 11th from 7am-9am.We will try and run two simulations to allow for practice with communication, resuscitation, direct laryngoscopy, glidescope, EZ IO, documentation, medication preparation, etc..
People who have participated in the past continue to comment on how it builds confidence to practice as a team with procedures and processes that we don't get to perform every day.

3)  A new Insights and Images Quiz is available on the homepage of www.jpeds.com.  The next Insights and Images quiz will be posted on December 9.  Inactive quizzes will be archived under the Collections tab on http://www.jpeds.com/content/pollresultspage.

4) For those who have not yet completed their Zero Harm Error Prevention Training, a class will be held tomorrow, 12/5 from 8-10am in George Auditorium in place of Grand Rounds.
