A Night In Punjab India, Providence
Pangeaa Productions is an organization that plans cultural themed events and helps spread awareness of geography, diversity and community involvement in a fun, interactive atmosphere. A Night In Punjab will feature the Fulkari Fashion Show, authentic Indian cuisines, vendors, music, free turban tying, henna and Bhangra (dance), bouncy houses performances from the northern Indian state of Punjab. 1sr Annual Thayer Street Art Festival, Providence 
Thayer St District Management Authority will host the 1st annual Thayer St Art Festival on Sunday, September 28th from 10am to 5pm on Thayer St on historic college hill in Providence, Rhode Island. The art festival will feature 100 contemporary American arts and crafts artists along with strolling entertainment including Rhode Island's own the Big Nazo and Lizzie James and the Greystone Rail. The festival will feature items big and small including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, mixed media, sculpture and home accessories along with live music. http://www.festivalfete.com/
EGAPL 18th Annual Hound Hike, East Greenwich 
Join EGAPL for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the 18th Annual Hound Hike! Starting at 12:00pm, Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the Goddard Park Carousel, find vendor tables for dogs and their humans, raffle items and more! The two-mile walk (with a one-mile route also available) begins at 1 p.m. and the cost of registration is $20, which includes lunch provided by the Marra Restaurant Group. Participants are encouraged to download a pledge sheet from www.egapl.org… as each additional pledge will directly benefit our animals! New this year to the Hound Hike is our first Rainbow Bridge Memorial, honoring pets who have been lost but their memory lives on. We will also award prizes to our biggest fundraisers, our oldest dog, and more. The event continues to 3:00pm. Participating dogs must be vaccinated and dog-friendly. http://egapl.org/events.html
